Faculty Travel Grants
The CES offers annual competitions for faculty travel grants.Multiple grants of upto $1000 each are awarded to assist UF Faculty with travel to Europe to pursue research, course development, course enhancement, or to present work at a scholarly conference or workshop. These grants are open to all UF Faculty regardless of discipline or rank as long as the subject of the research or talk is related to contemporary Europe, i.e. it is not sufficient that the trip takes place in Europe, it must be about contemporary Europe, broadly defined. These grants do not support conference participation limited to chairing a session and/or being a discussant. Next year's competition will be announced in Fall 2008, with a competition deadline in early Spring 2009.
